Event Carbon Offset

The energy consumption of the Climate Change Human Rights conference was approx 3,440kWh (1,585 kg CO2) on 23 November. To offset both the event and the carbon emissions from delegate/organiser travel, 30 native trees were purchased for the event itself and will be planted in the grounds of several primary and secondary schools in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ayr.
